How it works
There are two parts of the application. One is customer-facing mobile app and second is web based admin dashboard.
CUSTOMER FACING MOBILE APP
- Customer will launch the app.
- The app searches the location of customer by his/her device’s location. The location can also be entered manually.
- The app will show up all the stores in customer’s locality; starting from nearest to the most far.
- Upon selection of a store, the login screen will appear. Here customer will need providing his/her name, phone number, email and password for the registration.
- Upon registration, customer will need logging in the app.
- Upon successful logging-in, the customer will be able to see the products offered by the grocery shop that he/she chosen in the beginning. By tapping on key categories, customers will open the subcategories of the products.
- Customers have facility to switch from one sub-category to other one directly from the particular category screen.
- Upon choosing particular product sub-category, customers will also be able see sub-categories (variety) of particular product-sub-category.
- Adding item as the quantity a customer needs.
- Adding item to the cart and going back to the subcategory screen.
- Checking out of all items purchased.
- Adding address and saving it during checkout process.
- Adding payment method like COD or online payment.
- Placing order and reviewing the order from “My Order” screen. This screen also shows up the order status and previous orders made by the customer.
- There is also subscription feature in this app. It can be accessed directly from the menu. Subscription allows a customer to get particular item delivered on pre-decided dates. Customers can choose the subscription plan, delivery timing and payment modes through Subscription Screens.
- Customers can change the information of his / her profile.
WEB BASED ADMIN DASHBOARD
- Store owners will login with their unique credentials.
- Upon successful logging-in, they will see complete admin dashboard there.
- Store owners can add, edit and delete category and sub category items
- Store owners can add as many products as they want to related subcategories.
- They can also add price, description, images and other details.
- They are able to see the details of the order placed by customers using the app.
- They are able to generate various reports related to orders placed by customers.
- They are able to make changes to the status of the orders; from Order Processed to Packaging, to Shipped, to Out for Delivery, etc.
- The store owner can also add information for store like contact details, about us, terms & condition.
- They are able to see and generate the sales report of particular period of time to have an estimation of total business.
- They can add multiple payment methods, from cash on delivery to credit card, to debit card, to internet banking, to e-wallet and so on
- With analytics, store owners can track customers history, behavior and a lot of other things.
